This very talented, well-respected, and amazing actor attracted a lot of notice and appreciation for his portrayal of a man who had received the death sentence in “The Green Mile.”But his real life was not all that wonderful either. Raising him alone was his mother. In due course, a financial crisis forced the future great to give up basketball and leave school.

His job was security guard, but he became a bodyguard because of his height, strong physique, and exceptional physical state.

Then he costarred in the movie “Armageddon” with Bruce Willis. This one allowed him to play “The Green Mile,” his most well-known part.

Acting credits for Clarke include roles in Sin City and Planet of the Apes. Unfortunately, his hospitalized heart attack in 2012 had fatal consequences.
