Talk show host Joy Behar recently got into a heated argument with Matthew McConaughey after she asked a contentious topic. When Behar questioned McConaughey in an interview on his opinions on a contentious political matter, the actor abruptly ended the conversation.
Recognised for his diplomatic handling of delicate subjects, McConaughey graciously declined to comment, stressing the value of civil conversation and concentrating on points of agreement.
Though McConaughey’s elegant deflection made an impact on viewers and emphasised the need of civility in conversation, the exchange also highlighted the difficulties of talking politics in public.
