Why Lynda Carter, 71, Refuses Plastic Surgery: ‘I Am What I Am,’ she says.

Lynda Carter, 71, denies cosmetic surgery. “I’m just too afraid of looking different,” the TV Wonder Woman told Closer Weekly at the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York.

I won’t have surgery because I like myself. The actress says she got “a little Botox” but thanks Peloton for her fitness. However, she believes true beauty comes from within, regardless of age.

“We are still full-blooded women with our complexity and powerful inner identities,” the mother-of-two said. “That Wonder Woman aspect resonates with people—that powerful person inside us who creates life. I call ourselves the mothers of humanity!”

Lynda learned about women’s strength while starring in Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979. Lynda stated Wonder Woman taught women to be themselves.

I’ve received notes that she inspired them because she embodies every woman’s inherent power.”
