Along with his 45-year-old, well educated son, an 80-year-old man was seated on the sofa in his home. Just then a bird landed on their window.
Who is this, the Father questioned his Son?
That’s a crow, the Son said.
What is this, the Father asked his Son a second time after a few minutes?
It’s a crow, Father, I have just now told you, the Son remarked.
The elderly Father questioned his Son for the third time after a short period.
The Son said to his Father with a rejection at this point, and one could sense some displeasure in his voice. “A crow, a crow.”
What is this, the Father questioned his Son for the fourth time a short while later?
This time the Son yelled at his Father, “I’ve told you ‘IT IS A CROW’ so many times; why do you keep asking me the same question? Is this beyond your comprehension?
A little later, the Father returned to his chamber with an ancient, frayed diary that he had kept since his Son was born.
He requested his Son to read a page he opened. The diary had the following items written in it when the son read it.
“A crow was perched on the window while my three-year-old son and I were sitting on the sofa today. I told my son it was a crow each of the 23 times he asked what it was. Every 23 times he asked me the same question, I gave him a tender embrace. Not at all irritated was I. Instead, I was moved to love my naive child.
When the father asked his son the same question simply four times today, the Son became agitated and annoyed. The father had not been irritated in answering the same question 23 times when the small child had asked him 23 times.

When your parents get old, talk to them politely, be cool, obedient, humble, and kind to them—do not despise them or see them as a load. Respect your parents.
Say this out loud starting today:
I want to see my folks happy always. From my early years, they have looked after me. They have never stopped loving me without conditions.
Without noticing the heat and storm, they walked across every mountain and valley to make me presentable in today’s society.
Offering God a prayer:
My aging folks will get the BEST service from me. Whatever their behavior, I shall say nothing but nice things about my lovely parents.
I value the time you took to read this story.
