Surprisingly, love can do just that. The proposal from her partner made one woman very happy. But the following day, it all fell apart again. She doesn’t understand how she got herself entangled in this whirlwind of conflicting feelings of love, hurt, and bewilderment.
The following message was left by her:
“My partner asked me to be his wife. I consented because I was ecstatic. He came up to me the following day and apologized, saying, “I feel like I made a decision too quickly. “I am not prepared to be married just yet.” Additionally, he requested that I return the ring to him.
It floored me. I returned the ring without a word, packed my things, and left. I returned to his house the following day after realizing I had left something there. My presence caught him by surprise. Upon opening the door, I observed him engaged in lighthearted conversation with his former partner.
I stormed out after grabbing my belongings. I ignored his attempts at explanation. I still love him but I’m also so hurt.”
