When Jessica Gary’s senior Chihuahua named Fidel was taken from the park, she became very frustrated and was determined to do whatever it takes to retrieve him. When a dog goes missing, it can be a heartbreaking experience for the owner. Jessica is offering a $3,000 reward to locate Fidel, her 15-year-old dog who needs daily medication to stay alive.
Over the next couple of days, Jessica cruised through Brooklyn, hanging missing posters for her elderly dog, Fidel. Despite all her efforts, she was unable to locate him. She also reached out to her friends on social media to assist in locating Fidel by sharing his missing poster. Fortunately, a helpful suggestion led her to find her cherished pet in the Carroll Gardens area.
She headed to the spot where they spotted a couple strolling with Fidel in a relaxed manner. Jessica was determined to avoid any conflict and protect her beloved pet at all costs. Upon spotting the couple, her friend swiftly exited the car and retrieved Fidel from them. Jessica and her friend shut the door once they had the dog. The couple became enraged and struck their window with a skateboard, but Jessica and her friend managed to drive away unharmed.
Jessica suspects that the couple may have acquired or bought Fidel from another source, and the true identity of the dog thief remains unknown.
After the scary experience, Fidel emerged unscathed and has been joyfully reunited with his determined mother. Jessica admits that her efforts to save her dog might have been against the law, but she stands by her decision.
