Disney’s “The Lion King” is famous for evoking strong emotions in audiences of all ages. I vividly recall being moved to tears for a significant portion of the movie when I first watched it. It seems I wasn’t the only one, after all.

Luna, a four-month-old puppy, resides with Josh Myers in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Josh shared a video on YouTube showcasing his dog’s emotional response to Disney’s animated film, “The Lion King.”

Myers mentioned that he and his girlfriend were enjoying the classic Disney movie as their 4-month-old puppy, Luna, was happily playing with her toys. However, when the film reached the well-known heartbreaking moment of Mufasa’s passing, Luna came to a halt to observe it unfold.

Josh remarked that witnessing her tears while watching TV was the most heartwarming moment he had ever experienced. She immediately lies down after Simba lies down with his dad… At just four months old, she’s already displaying empathy. I’m excited to see her response to the new live-action Lion King!

Luna is not the sole dog that has shown a strong response to “The Lion King.” Another small dog, a three-year-old Chihuahua-Pug, was watching the movie with his family when the same scene appeared on the TV…
