Susan Boyle shows us inside her childhood home after repairs.

More than 10 years ago, Susan Boyle appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent” season three and won over music fans worldwide.

In her initial audition, she was shy and unassuming before Simon Cowell. But she stunned everyone with “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables. That audition video has millions of views.

Susan got famous and made millions from her CDs. Her road has been difficult, and her love life has been rumored.

Did Susan Boyle marry? Has she a partner? Where does she live now?

As Susan Boyle ages, she naturally reflects on her life. She lived alone with Pebbles in 2008 as an unemployed charity worker. To try her luck in show business, she sang “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables on Britain’s Got Talent for Simon Cowell and other judges at 47. She became an overnight success.

Her shocking audition made her renowned worldwide. Millions are still inspired by her story.

“I used to observe the world from the sidelines. But now I’m in that realm, and though it’s scary, I’ll embrace it,” Boyle stated after her breakthrough.

Susan Boyle earned $6.8 million her first year as a superstar. She showed them inside her childhood home after remodeling it with that money.

Susan continued to succeed. She became the third artist to top UK and US charts in the same year after releasing her second studio album.

The timid 47-year-old from Scotland become a global icon and billionaire overnight.

Even though her profession took her over the world and made her millions, Susan Boyle has always been honest, humble, and kind.

She hasn’t flaunted her wealth like other celebrities. The modest vocalist lives in her childhood home in Blackburn, Scotland. She acquired the modest house in 2010.

Staying connected to your roots is good. It keeps you grounded and prevents you from saying things you shouldn’t, Susan Boyle told OK!.

Susan was born April 1, 1961. Patrick and Bridget, her parents, were Donegal immigrants. Bridget was a shorthand typist and Patrick a miner, WWII veteran, and vocalist. Susan was the youngest of four brothers and six sisters.

The Boyle family lived in a West Lothian council house. Susan resides in that house today.

Boyle had numerous options. She could have gone anywhere and bought a beautiful Beverly Hills property. But instead, she decided to come back to her childhood home in Blackburn, Scotland. It’s a four-bedroom house that used to be a council house. She bought it and transformed it into the home of her dreams.

In a tour of her newly decorated home, where she’s lived for 60 years, she shows off her beautiful new piano room, which is the first thing you see when you enter her house.

Susan jokes about the piano room, saying she’s just started taking lessons. “It’s funny because I can’t even do scales,” she said with a laugh.

The kitchen in Susan Boyle’s house got a big makeover. It used to be small and not very filled with things. The table was near the oven, and she thought it was dangerous. But now, after the renovation, it’s much bigger and has lots of updates. There’s even a framed photo of Susan meeting Pope Francis.

Her living room is bright and cozy, filled with pictures of her family. Susan is the youngest of seven brothers and sisters, so her house used to have nine people in it. It must feel much more spacious now.

As you walk through her home, you see her career shown off with framed awards and honors. There are also many cute animal ornaments, showing her gentle and down-to-earth personality.

Upstairs, Susan shows us the room she used to share with her two sisters. After they left home, it became her room. She remembers the record player in the corner and how she was a big fan of The Osmonds.

Susan’s father passed away in the 1990s, and by that time, her brothers and sisters had moved out. Susan stayed at home and took care of her elderly mother until she passed away in 2007. So, the house holds precious memories for the superstar.

“Some people seem surprised that I choose to stay in my family home. Why shouldn’t I? I feel Mom is still here, and there are so many good memories. I’ve spent most of my life in this house, and I won’t move now because I feel it’s part of my new history,” she said.

Susan has always been honest about wanting to meet the love of her life and find a long-term partner. When she does find that special someone, they’ll move into her house because Susan has no plans to leave.

While she patiently waits to meet “Mr. Right,” there’s something else that’s been on Susan’s mind for a while. She has always dreamed of being a mother and having children of her own.

“I’ve never had any of my own, that’s my biggest regret, but I love kids. They’re good fun to be with,” she told The Sun.

As a 60-year-old woman, time is not exactly on her side. But Susan has opened up on perhaps adopting or becoming a foster parent for children who need a safe and loving home.

“I’ve a lovely house, why not share it?” she said.

Susan’s home reminds us all that despite her overnight stardom she’s still an everyday person who chooses to live the quiet life in the only home she’s ever known.

It’s such a shame her parents couldn’t have witnessed her rise to stardom. Please share.
