For the holidays, she is returning home.
While on vacation from Montreal filming her new film French Exit, Michelle Pfeiffer shared a gorgeous photo on Wednesday that didn’t have any makeup.
Pfeiffer smiles broadly for the camera in the Instagram photo, seeming flawlessly makeup-free.
Her trademark blond hair fell loosely in waves as she posed for the photo, and she wore a warm black cowl-neck sweater.
Michelle wrote: “looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with my family, but sad to leave my Montreal crew behind.”
The 61-year-old has been in Canada filming a comedy with Lucas Hedges and Tracy Letts, who play her cat-reincarnated husband and wife, respectively.
The crew is shooting on the beautiful streets of Montreal, Canada, even though the film takes place in Paris.
In a recent social media post following a week of filming, Pfeiffer enthusiastically praised the project and the cast.

After her wealthy husband’s ghost takes up residence in her cat, Michelle plays a wealthy widow who, together with her adult son and pet, relocates to the city of lights after her wealth runs dry. Filmmaker Patrick De Witt enlisted the help of Canadian novelist Patrick De Witt to adapt his 2018 novel for the big screen.
Seaside Manchester August — The playwright Tracy Letts will provide the voice for Michelle’s husband/cat, while Oscar contender Lucas Hedges will play Michelle’s son.
Azazel Jacobs, who helmed Tracy alongside Debra Winger in the 2017 romantic comedy The Lovers, is directing the film adaptation of this book.
No premiere date has been revealed for French Exit, which started production in October.
